He finds himself racing against time to recover the stolen anthrax.

Amnesty International documents this in their report, "Intolerable Killings: 10 years of abductions and murders of women in Ciudad Juárez and Chihuahua." These unsolved murders cry out for justice, and continue to occur to this day. "The Virgin of Juarez" attempts to "shine a light on evil" -- in the words of director/co-writer Kevin James Dobson -- in dramatizing these events.
